About the Red Mountaineers

The Red Mountaineers was founded in 1976. The name came about when the original founders were sitting around the campfire with friends, drinking red wine, and the picture on the bottle had mountains on it. Still all these decades later, the club has grown and many of the parks and resorts we camp at are centered around wineries, as well as golf courses. The club currently has 24 rigs consisting of class A, class C, 5th wheels, and travel trailers and we camp within 150 miles of Ceres. We meet the second full weekend of every month with the exception of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day weekends and on Saturdays we gather for our club potluck breakfast and club dinner. Each month usually has a theme which is decided on by the designated Food Chair, and everyone is encouraged to participate and dress up if desired.

We are always having a great time together as our group really has grown into a family and we enjoy one another’s company. We enjoy meeting new friends. if you’re interested in joining us, feel free to reach out to our Wagonmaster or President to get more info.
